During this time away from the school site, we will be continuing our learning. For the most part, this will be done using Chromebooks. For those assignments that can’t be done on Chromebooks, all necessary items have been sent home. A typical day will have about 4 hours of solo work. This solo work can be done in small study groups if you wish to get together over this time, or done over video chat, or by themselves. I have added a sample of a typical day. For some, this will take less than 4 hours, and for others, it will take longer than 4 hours. The 4-hour mark is what the class average should be around for each day. The work that is being assigned is very similar, if not identical, to what we usually do in class. Most of the time, the students will be able to complete all of their work on their own, without the help of an adult. If students need help, which will happen, parents may assist, or I will be reachable by email throughout the time away. I expect that students will be making a significant effort every day during this time, and I will have assignments due every day. These daily assignments are how I will track not only student’s progress during this time but also how I will know that students are doing their work every day. Thank you for your patience during this time.

I understand during this time. It will be hard, if not impossible, to gather some of these supplies. The experiments are not mandatory. Students who can’t complete experiments are asked to watch all videos all the way through to learn what they can from them.
Religion- Students have there Religion books with them at home, and all assignments will come through Google Classroom, how they usually do in class.
